About the Role
Lead the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from opportunity identification to post-merger integration, while aligning transactions with corporate strategy and value creation goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive mergers and acquisitions strategy
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential acquisition targets
- Lead due diligence processes across financial, legal, operational, and strategic dimensions
- Negotiate deal terms and structure transactions to maximize value
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align M&A activity with business objectives
- Manage relationships with external advisors including investment bankers and legal counsel
- Develop financial models and valuation analyses to support decision-making
- Oversee integration planning and execution for acquired businesses
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape for new opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and board-level stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential deals
- Assess synergies and risks associated with proposed transactions
- Drive post-acquisition performance tracking and value realization
- Support capital allocation strategy in coordination with finance leadership
- Develop frameworks for evaluating strategic fit and cultural alignment
- Lead cross-functional teams during transaction processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations affecting M&A
- Coordinate with internal legal and compliance teams on contractual matters
- Manage confidentiality and data room processes
- Prepare executive summaries and detailed transaction documentation
- Advise on divestiture opportunities when applicable
- Contribute to long-term corporate growth planning through inorganic expansion
- Foster relationships with stakeholders across business units
- Ensure timely reporting on M&A progress and outcomes
