GQS GmbH is looking for a Hauptbuchhalter to manage the complete financial accounting and closing processes for several subsidiary companies. In this role, you will be a central pillar for financial integrity and a key contact for our business partners and auditors.
What You'll Do
- Take full responsibility for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB) for multiple subsidiaries.
- Clarify fundamental accounting questions with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and actively optimize accounting and closing work processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and business partners like Tax, Controlling, and Group Accounting.
- Implement and uphold quality standards in accounting and financial reporting.
- Contribute directly to the financial integrity and success of the corporate group.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in business administration with a focus on Accounting, or a certified accountant qualification, combined with proven experience in financial accounting and closing.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP-FI and skilled use of MS-Office, especially Excel.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- A preference for independent, self-directed work and quick comprehension.
- A goal-oriented, structured, and reliable working style combined with strong team skills.
- High flexibility, willingness to work, and resilience.
Nice to Have
- An ideal candidate holds a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accountant) qualification.
- English language skills are considered advantageous.
