Nucor is looking for a Graphic Designer to play a key role in shaping our visual identity. You will be responsible for creating compelling, on-brand design assets across print and digital channels, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency throughout the company's communications. What You'll Do
- Create compelling, on-brand design assets across print and digital channels.
- Support marketing initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency throughout the company's communications.
- Produce designs that create generous and remarkable materials from pre-press through completion.
- Work in collaboration with others to help maintain the visual image and standards of the organization.
- Uphold and evolve brand standards.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4-7 years of related experience.
- Ability to provide a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital design.
- Understanding of digital ad specifications, responsive design, and basic UX principles.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Figma or similar tools.
- Solid foundational visual design skills – e.g., typography, layout, color, and information hierarchy.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web asset optimization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation or CMS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Illustration skills are a plus.
