Responsibilities

  • Undertaking desk studies, site investigations, risk assessments and remediation works
  • Procuring laboratory services for environmental analysis
  • Conducting data analysis
  • Writing factual and interpretative reports
  • Coordinating field service and laboratory subcontractors
  • Fully supervising ground investigation works
  • Collecting soil, groundwater and gas samples/data during assessment and remedial action activities at various sites in the UK (and potentially overseas)
  • Compiling and interpreting field and analytical data into conceptual models
  • Informing risk assessments for human health, ground/surface water, and ground gas/vapour
  • Designing mitigation measures and remediation solutions
  • Advocating best health and safety practices and ensuring issues are addressed throughout the life of a project
  • Implementing AECOM’s industry-leading principles of environmental protection and sustainability within the context of the I&RS business
