Responsibilities
- Undertaking desk studies, site investigations, risk assessments and remediation works
- Procuring laboratory services for environmental analysis
- Conducting data analysis
- Writing factual and interpretative reports
- Coordinating field service and laboratory subcontractors
- Fully supervising ground investigation works
- Collecting soil, groundwater and gas samples/data during assessment and remedial action activities at various sites in the UK (and potentially overseas)
- Compiling and interpreting field and analytical data into conceptual models
- Informing risk assessments for human health, ground/surface water, and ground gas/vapour
- Designing mitigation measures and remediation solutions
- Advocating best health and safety practices and ensuring issues are addressed throughout the life of a project
- Implementing AECOM’s industry-leading principles of environmental protection and sustainability within the context of the I&RS business
