About the Role

This role leads the design and implementation of global risk strategies for go-to-market initiatives, ensuring business innovation is balanced with compliance, operational integrity, and enterprise resilience across all regions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of global go-to-market risk frameworks
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate market-specific risks
  • Ensure alignment between risk strategy and business growth objectives
  • Oversee risk assessments for new product launches and market expansions
  • Advise executive leadership on risk implications of strategic decisions
  • Establish metrics and reporting to track risk exposure and mitigation progress
  • Drive cross-functional coordination between legal, compliance, and sales operations
  • Enhance risk communication protocols across departments
  • Manage third-party risk in customer-facing initiatives
  • Support internal and external audits related to go-to-market activities
  • Develop training programs to increase risk awareness among commercial teams
  • Monitor global regulatory changes impacting market entry strategies
  • Evaluate contractual risk in partnership and channel agreements
  • Lead crisis response planning for high-impact market disruptions
  • Foster a proactive risk management culture within commercial leadership
  • Ensure consistency in risk policies across geographic regions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline risk processes without compromising controls
  • Partner with product teams to integrate risk considerations early in development
  • Maintain relationships with external risk and compliance advisors
  • Report regularly to senior governance committees on risk posture
