SOSi is hiring a GitLab Administrator to support mission-critical requirements for a DoD customer. You will help develop a structured, scalable, and federated data ecosystem to enhance interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics, bridging gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and international partners.
What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab, ensuring only authorized personnel can access and modify repositories.
- Submit the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report, documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge and capability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills are required to support software development teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
- Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management is required.
Nice to Have
- Desirable but not required certifications include GitLab Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
