Portugal Remote (Global) Contract

PLAYSENSE is hiring a Gameplay Video Artist

About the Role

As a Gameplay Video Artist, you’ll own the end-to-end production of gameplay footage, ensuring polished, platform-optimized deliverables for marketing and promotional use. Your work will span multiple engines and formats, requiring both creative finesse and technical accuracy.

What You'll Do

Manage the complete video pipeline—from capturing gameplay in-engine to final mastering. Set up and direct in-game scenes using tools like Unreal Sequencer and Unity Timeline, adjusting camera paths, lighting, and timing to achieve cinematic results. Perform precise freecam captures with HUD disabled, leveraging bot setups or multiplayer configurations as needed.

Handle post-production tasks including editing, color grading, and formatting for diverse platforms. Deliver content in multiple aspect ratios—16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5—along with thumbnails, GIFs, and store-specific assets. Ensure all outputs meet technical specs for mobile, console, and PC storefronts.

Apply ACES or HDR to SDR color conversions using LUTs and maintain color consistency across deliverables. Export localized versions with subtitles and adapt motion graphics as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Unreal Engine and Unity, including Sequencer and Timeline/Cinemachine workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects (or comparable tools)
  • Hands-on experience with gameplay capture using OBS and external capture cards
  • Basic understanding of Digital Audio Workstations for sound editing and syncing
  • Familiarity with mobile and console platform requirements and technical constraints
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new engines, builds, and production pipelines
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance with technical standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating in-engine cutscenes using Unreal Blueprints or Unity C# scripting
  • Background in setting up and managing camera rigs for cinematic sequences
  • Knowledge of ACES color management and HDR workflows
  • Experience capturing multiplayer gameplay scenarios

Work Environment

This is a fully remote role with team members distributed globally. We support a collaborative, client-focused culture that values precision, creativity, and initiative. You’ll work across diverse projects and engines, including proprietary technologies like Frostbite and Core, contributing to high-impact visual campaigns.
