LineVision is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineering co-op to help build our cloud-based platform that turns real-time sensor data into actionable insights for electric utilities. You'll work across the entire stack, designing intuitive user interfaces and integrating with backend services.
What You'll Do
- Design and build intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that make complex data easy to act on.
- Integrate with internal and external APIs, cloud services, and relational databases.
- Contribute to new system design and proof-of-concept exploration.
- Support team goals of continuous improvement and a culture of growth-mindset.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree.
- A strong eye for UX and experience designing intuitive interfaces.
- Understanding of object-oriented and functional design principles, relational databases, distributed software design, and Agile methodologies.
- A strong and disciplined approach to test-driven software development.
- Initiative, creative problem-solving skills, and team collaboration.
- Experience with Javascript and Python programming languages.
- Experience working on web application front ends and RESTful API backends.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Typescript, SQL, React, or Node.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure; AWS (preferred), Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
