Zirtual is looking for a Full-Stack Product Engineer to take responsibility for the full lifecycle of development and ongoing maintenance of both internal and client-facing applications. This role focuses on thoughtful maintenance, steady improvement, and supporting existing systems.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and improve existing systems for internal and client-facing applications.
- Partner with Operations and Marketing teams to ensure tools stay effective, efficient, and user-friendly.
- Utilize product and design thinking to identify and build useful tools for customers and internal business needs.
- Pay close attention to user experience and work to improve the product holistically.
- Take initiative in identifying and solving problems, developing skills, and building great products.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with non-engineering teams.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of programming experience.
- 3 years of experience using React, Apollo GraphQL, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Ability to explain the reasoning behind coding decisions.
- Ability to use AI tools for development while maintaining the ability to review, test, and edit.
- Deep understanding of relational databases.
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and does not need a PM to map, plan, and execute projects.
- Open to getting out of your lane and contributing to parts of the stack that are new.
- Communicates well with a diverse team.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
