Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is hiring a Full-stack Engineer for our Octopus project. You will be responsible for building end-to-end features across client and server, integrating AI-enabled capabilities, and following established quality, security, and governance practices.
What You'll Do
- Implement user stories across the user interface and backend services.
- Consume and produce versioned APIs; implement authentication, authorization, and robust error handling.
- Build accessible, responsive, and internationalized interfaces.
- Implement business logic, persistence, background processing, and caching.
- Wire model-backed capabilities, prompts, and retrieval flows from the AI team into product features.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews.
- Follow secure coding standards, validate inputs, and protect sensitive data.
- Profile and optimize critical paths, queries, and assets.
- Use containerization, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Instrument logs, metrics, and traces; create dashboards and alerts.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, Security, and Data teams.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years building production web applications across client and server components.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful or RPC-style APIs.
- Proficiency in modern web development fundamentals.
- Strong grasp of at least one mainstream server-side language and one client-side language.
- Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases, schema design, and query optimization.
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and CI/CD in a cloud environment.
- Comfort with test automation and quality gates in an agile delivery setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to public sector or other regulated environments.
- Exposure to integrating AI-enabled features in applications.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, security, or testing.
Team & Environment
You will work under the Principal Data & AI Delivery Lead and alongside the Senior AI Software Engineer.
