Gigster is hiring a Full Stack Engineer (Contract) to join a high-impact healthcare technology project. You will help build and scale a benefits platform designed to improve access to life-saving medications, contributing to performance, new feature development, and real-time integrations ahead of significant growth in early 2026.

What You'll Do

Optimize data loading and UI rendering for scale
Build new, customer-facing user interfaces with Next.js
Integrate machine learning predictions into user views
Connect the platform to external REST APIs for real-time insights
Capture usage metrics and display them through Datadog dashboards
Contribute to an agile delivery model with two-week sprints, daily standups, and async collaboration
Own your work end-to-end: from planning and building to testing

What We're Looking For

3–6 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
Proficiency with Next.js (React) for modern front-end development
Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with hands-on AWS Lambda experience
Strong understanding of modern web development and data structures
Ability to work independently and test your own code

Nice to Have

Familiarity with PostgreSQL and writing efficient queries
Experience with SST (Serverless Stack) or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
Knowledge of Datadog instrumentation
Previous work in healthtech or benefits platforms
