BNY is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer

BNY is looking for a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Engineer to join the Global Payments & Trade team. This role is based in Pune and focuses on developing and maintaining full-stack solutions for critical financial applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain full-stack features for the Signals Application using React/Angular for the frontend and Java/Spring Boot for the backend.
• Integrate and manage data flows with Kafka and MongoDB.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Write and maintain automated tests for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development, with strong knowledge of Java 8+ features including Streams and Lambda functions.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Angular 2 or higher, Jasper Reports, and Oracle SQL.
• At least 1 year of experience working in Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile Framework environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, specifically GitLab.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, containers, and knowledge of Data Mart and Big Data technologies.
