BJAK is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its engineering team based in Indonesia. You will work remotely on impactful projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance our mission of providing accessible financial services in ASEAN.
What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality back-end systems in Node.js for web applications.
- Maintain and perform bug fixes for existing backend and web systems.
- Provide support to internal and external users.
- Implement features based on requirements from product owners.
- Analyze, fix issues, and improve software quality.
- Mentor and provide guidance and best practice advice to the team.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Professional experience in Node.js.
- Experience with MongoDB, RestAPI, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, and HTML5.
- A passion for programming and solving complex problems.
Nice to Have
- A portfolio showing a diverse range of web development projects.
- Experience in UI/UX and graphic design.
- Familiarity with TDD / BDD.
- Familiarity with Postman.
- Familiarity with NodeJS test automation frameworks like mocha, chai, or selenium.
- Experience with web templating languages like Pug or Slim.
