At Weekday, we're seeking a Frontend Experience Lead to spearhead the development of highly interactive, efficient, and scalable user interfaces for our next-generation cybersecurity platform. You will guide a team of UI engineers, set the technical direction for front-end architecture, and drive the creation of intuitive experiences for real-time insights and secure system workflows.

What You'll Do

Lead and coach a team of frontend engineers to deliver high-performance UI solutions.
Define architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices for React and TypeScript development.
Implement reusable components, scalable layouts, and systemized UI patterns that accelerate product development.
Drive feature development end-to-end—from requirement analysis to production deployment.
Collaborate with product and design teams to craft seamless, intuitive user experiences.
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across all interactions.
Optimize UI rendering performance for real-time data visualization environments.
Work closely with backend teams to ensure smooth API integration and reliable data handling.
Conduct technical reviews and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Provide transparent communication on priorities, risks, timelines, and milestone progress.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience building production-grade web applications in React.js and TypeScript.
Minimum 2 years leading or mentoring UI or frontend engineering teams.
Strong understanding of scalable UI architecture, modern design patterns, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, Recoil, or equivalent tools.
Exposure to UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
Ability to build and optimize complex dashboards and data-rich interfaces.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and usability best practices.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile product environments.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with cybersecurity platforms, SIEM tools, real-time data visualization, or micro-frontend architectures.
Experience establishing design systems or component libraries from scratch.
