Winona is hiring a Frontend Engineer III - Web CRO to be a key contributor in developing complex, user-facing web applications. You will leverage your specialized skills to drive our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives by building robust, high-performing frontend components.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain complex user-facing web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Lead the development of frontend components for CRO experiments, ensuring precise implementation of tracking and analytics.
- Utilize CRO tools such as Optimizely to build and deploy A/B tests and other experimental components within complex frontend systems.
- Create and maintain advanced reusable frontend components and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure the high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of web applications across various devices and browsers.
- Champion responsive design principles and implement best practices in CSS architecture.
- Research, evaluate, and introduce new frontend technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance development and product capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across engineering teams.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in developing and maintaining complex, user-facing web applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong proficiency in Vue.js (versions 2 and 3) and Nuxt 3.
- Excellent understanding of developing reusable frontend components in large software systems.
- Proven experience in developing front-end components for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experiments, with a strong emphasis on implementing accurate tracking and analytics.
- Demonstrated experience using CRO tools like Optimizely in combination with complex frontend systems to create testable frontend components.
- Advanced understanding of responsive design principles and extensive experience with CSS preprocessors/frameworks.
- Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, npm, Yarn).
- Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of performance testing and debugging practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
