Role Overview
We are looking for freelance linguists to support a large-scale consumer electronics initiative, focusing on refining machine-generated translations from British English into Mongolian. The work involves post-editing and proofreading a range of content types, including marketing copy, retail materials, and technical documentation such as user guides.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive post-editing of machine-translated text to ensure natural, accurate Mongolian output
- Proofread translated content for grammar, tone, consistency, and adherence to source meaning
- Handle materials intended for public distribution, including product descriptions and instructional content
- Deliver work within defined timeframes without compromising linguistic quality
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mongolian, with strong command of British English
- Proven background in translating or editing technical and marketing content
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines
Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote freelance position open to candidates worldwide. There are no location restrictions, and work can be completed from any location with reliable internet access.
