Zapdeck is looking for a Freelance Front-End Engineer to build the advanced UI systems for our AI-driven presentation software. You will shape the technical foundation by designing and implementing highly dynamic components, working in close collaboration with the CTO.
What You'll Do
- Implement complex front-end logic to transform AI output into responsive layouts using CSS, JavaScript, and SVG.
- Develop advanced UI features like adaptive layout systems, dynamic positioning logic, and visual editing tools.
- Design scalable, modular front-end component architectures that represent AI-defined properties and styles.
- Ensure visual precision by handling complex styling, layout measurement, and custom rendering for pixel-perfect results.
- Collaborate with the CTO and engineers to prototype ideas and push the boundaries of front-end innovation.
What We're Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience developing complex front-end systems.
- Proven track record building custom component libraries or intricate UI logic (e.g., design tools, whiteboards, editors, layout engines, visualization tools).
- Strong command of modern CSS, including responsive layouts, animations, and techniques such as SCSS or CSS-in-JS.
- Excellent command of English.
- Availability to start immediately.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with SVG and Canvas for dynamic visual rendering.
- Located within CET ±2h for smooth collaboration.
