Responsibilities
- Record legal proceedings using digital reporting equipment
- Produce verbatim transcripts of depositions and hearings
- Ensure audio and video synchronization during sessions
- Maintain certification as required by state standards
- Deliver transcripts within specified deadlines
- Coordinate scheduling with attorneys and parties involved
- Upload files securely through case management software
- Respond to transcript corrections and errata requests
- Follow legal and ethical guidelines for court reporting
- Provide real-time captioning when required
- Verify speaker identification during proceedings
- Preserve chain of custody for digital recordings
- Submit daily or session summaries as needed
- Attend pre-trial conferences when requested
- Support remote depositions via digital platforms
- Maintain equipment in operational condition
- Ensure secure storage of recordings and documents
- Communicate clearly with legal teams and clients
- Adapt to various deposition environments
- Comply with state-specific court reporting regulations
Compensation

Remote with travel to Iowa locations as needed
