Reducto is hiring a Founding Support Engineer (Remote)

Reducto is hiring a Founding Support Engineer to be the front line for developers using our API. You will own the debugging loop end-to-end, build durable support processes, and champion the developer experience in a high-ownership, early-stage environment.

What You'll Do

• Be the front line for developers using Reducto's API—triage, reproduce, and resolve issues across auth, webhooks, rate limits, schema extraction, and SDKs.
• Own the debugging loop end-to-end, from capturing detailed reproductions to digging through logs and driving fixes across Engineering.
• Build durable support processes by writing playbooks, macros, and self-serve documentation, and instrumenting queues and SLAs.
• Use AI to accelerate support by summarizing logs, clustering tickets, proposing replies, and measuring its impact on resolution time.
• Champion the developer experience by identifying rough edges in our API and docs and partnering with Engineering and Product on improvements.

What We're Looking For

• You communicate clearly and empathetically with developers and non-technical users.
• You are excellent at systematic debugging involving HTTP, JSON, auth, retries, idempotency, and webhooks.
• You are comfortable reading and writing code, with Python or TypeScript preferred, to create minimal reproductions.
• You have strong product sense and propose changes that eliminate whole classes of issues.
• You thrive in a high-ownership, early-stage environment and have a bias toward action.

Nice to Have

• You have supported API-first or developer-tooling products.
• You have used observability stacks and basic SQL to investigate issues.
• You have worked with AWS primitives like S3 and IAM or document/OCR/LLM pipelines.
• You have experience applying LLMs to customer-support workflows.
