Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale frontend modernization efforts, transitioning legacy React, Vue, or similar frameworks to Next.js, including migration from Pages to App Router and phased adoption strategies.
- Perform in-depth code reviews and technical evaluations to identify performance issues, architectural flaws, and optimization paths, providing clear action plans for improvement.
- Design and develop high-throughput Next.js applications using App Router, Server Components, streaming, Incremental Static Regeneration, edge functions, and advanced rendering techniques for enterprise needs.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall application performance using Vercel Speed Insights to detect problems and apply effective solutions that enhance SEO, user engagement, and conversion.
- Develop production-grade AI applications using the AI SDK and AI Cloud platform, including chat interfaces, automated agents, MCP servers, and agentic workflows.
- Work directly within customer environments to co-develop and deploy production-ready TypeScript applications, aligning with existing systems and operational constraints.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through hands-on workshops, collaborative coding, and comprehensive documentation to ensure long-term solution sustainability.
- Engage with engineering, product, and leadership teams across organizations to build trust and align technical initiatives with business goals.
- Support pre-sales initiatives by offering technical guidance during discovery meetings, scoping discussions, and proposal creation for migration, audit, and AI projects.
- Help evolve service offerings by recognizing common implementation patterns, creating reusable assets, and sharing field insights with internal Product and Engineering teams.
