Anduril Industries is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, Air Defense (FDE)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical field support for military air defense initiatives, including system maintenance and customer training
• Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, and network challenges in unpredictable operational settings
• Keep internal teams and clients updated on the status of field-reported issues
• Help design and execute detailed operational and logistical strategies for mission-critical events
• Ensure air defense systems remain highly available and perform optimally in the field
• Develop and maintain support protocols for both hardware and software components
• Contribute to planning efforts and resource coordination, ensuring stakeholders understand technical requirements
• Lead root-cause investigations following system incidents in deployed environments
• Conduct post-incident evaluations and apply corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Keep accurate, current documentation for all systems and procedures
