The Pictsweet Company is hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our team. This is an opportunity for multiple positions across various departments and shifts in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate an electric or propane forklift safely and efficiently
- Ensure accurate product procurement and placement
- Complete all required forms and paperwork
- Conduct accurate inventory counts
- Train to Pictsweet Food Safety and GMP procedures and comply with all requirements
- Operate assigned PKMS duties, including bar code scanning and computer operation
- Comply with company attendance guidelines
- Follow all personnel safety procedures
- Properly conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and complete forklift inspection sheets
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stack product bins safely and neatly up to 25 feet high
- Ability to safely stack bulk bins (up to 5 bins) with a forklift
- Must pass Pictsweet’s forklift certification program
- Achieve a satisfactory assessment score for forklift drivers
- Successfully pass a minimum 20/40 vision test
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays
Nice to Have
- Experience operating a forklift in an industrial or manufacturing environment
