Accondo is seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant for a project-based role offering significant variety and autonomy. You will engage in 6-month projects with well-known companies across various industries, supporting their finance teams in daily operations and special initiatives while working primarily from home.
What You'll Do
- Work on 6-month projects with well-known companies from various industries, supporting their finance teams in daily business and special projects.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and operate completely independently.
- Travel to clients for up to 5 days per month for project onboarding or other needs.
- Win projects through strong self-presentation during job interviews.
- Consult on and drive process optimization to make financial accounting more efficient and digital.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in financial accounting.
- Completed vocational training or degree in taxes, accounting, or a similar field.
- Expert knowledge of accounting according to HGB (German Commercial Code); experience with IFRS is a plus.
- Proficient in using SAP FI or other software programs like MS Dynamics, Datev, and/or Oracle.
- Fluent in German and very good command of English.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for business (at least for project onboarding & up to 5 days/month).
- Proactive personality with a drive for change and thinking outside the box.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and get up to speed on new tasks with limited onboarding time.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.

Work Mode
