HERA Organics is looking for a Financial Analysis Consultant (Profitability Governance). In this advanced role, you will conduct independent, insightful financial research on complex projects. You will provide comprehensive advice to management to support strategic objectives and lead innovative solutions in a dynamic setting.
What You'll Do
- Create financial reports and meet with the Finance team to summarize trends and provide insights to management.
- Complete detailed and interpretative financial analyses using complex tools to demonstrate scenarios.
- Lead the development and implementation of specific Finance department goals.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of all work products.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of finance and accounting concepts through data aggregation.
- Develop improved financial departmental tools and processes independently.
- Display a strong understanding of the Bank’s or applicable business units’ financial statements, including key drivers and trends.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit and regulatory points.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of accounting, auditing, operations, and/or financial institutions experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years of higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years in the specified areas.
- Experience providing financial analysis for monthly and strategic multi-year forecasts.
- Experience providing financial analysis for annual budgets.
- Experience in an enterprise-level financial performance measurement framework.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and theory as they relate to profitability reporting.
- Strong persuasion skills.
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or other pertinent professional certification.
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of theories and practices in finance and accounting within the banking industry.
Team & Environment
You may have indirect supervisory responsibilities and will mentor and develop less experienced staff.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $100,611.94 - $167,686.57 (USD)
