About the Role
The Financial Advisor provides tailored financial planning and investment guidance to help clients achieve their life goals while maintaining compliance and fostering trust through consistent, professional service.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized financial guidance to clients based on individual goals and risk tolerance
- Assess client financial situations including income, assets, and liabilities
- Develop comprehensive financial plans covering retirement, education, and estate planning
- Recommend investment strategies aligned with client objectives
- Monitor and adjust financial plans as life circumstances change
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Ensure all recommendations comply with regulatory standards
- Build trust through consistent communication and follow-up
- Identify client needs through active listening and inquiry
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless service
- Educate clients on financial products and market trends
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews
- Support clients during major financial transitions
- Promote financial wellness through workshops or seminars
- Adhere to ethical standards and fiduciary responsibilities
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and financial regulations
- Use financial planning software to model outcomes
- Meet compliance requirements for licensing and certifications
- Maintain a secure and confidential environment for client data
- Contribute to team goals through collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests
- Track client interactions and follow-up actions
- Support new client onboarding processes
- Participate in professional development activities
- Uphold company policies in all client and internal interactions
Nice to Have
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
- Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) credential
