About the Role

Serbyte IT is looking for a Finance Manager to drive financial strategy and operations for our European e-commerce client. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimizing accounting processes to support a dynamic business.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize costs and increase profits.
  • Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting for various projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop financial strategies and optimize profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policy.
  • Monitor financial indicators and prepare reports for management.
  • Optimize accounting processes and financial transactions.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risks.
  • Check and organize invoices, pay bills and invoices.
  • Control TaxDoo - Taxually services, ensuring timely submission of documents and payment from emails.
  • Manage QuickBooks (approximately 200 transactions per month across 40 suppliers).
  • Handle Amazon settlements across 14 countries, distributing via A2X.
  • Manage payment services (payments entered into Wise or another provider).

What We're Looking For

  • Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Deep knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and tax accounting.
  • Ability to track and manage incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Experience in managing Project Profit and Loss (PnL).
  • Expertise in managing Balance Sheets and Cash Flow for projects.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Deep knowledge of VAT Europe.
  • Proficiency in English at a level not lower than Intermediate.
  • Can be a trusted advisor in financial matters, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and reliability.
  • Results-oriented, with a mindset focused on achieving specific goals.
  • Independently builds and optimizes financial models.
  • Passionate about working with spreadsheets and databases, applying a systematic approach to handling information.
  • Operates proactively, anticipating needs, and makes decisions quickly and effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of VAT and global financial processes.
  • Experience working with Clickup.
