Beckman Coulter, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support our customers in the Tampa, FL region. This position is responsible for providing expert installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for our clinical diagnostic instruments.
What You'll Do
- Perform on-site installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of Beckman Coulter instruments
- Troubleshoot complex instrument and system issues to resolve customer problems efficiently
- Provide technical support and training to customers on instrument operation and maintenance
- Document all service activities, including parts used and labor time, in the service database
- Manage your own schedule and parts inventory to meet customer service level agreements
- Travel within the assigned Tampa, FL region to customer sites
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree or higher in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proven experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical systems
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Capability to lift and move instrumentation and parts up to 50 pounds
Work Mode
This is a remote position based in the Tampa, FL area. It requires daily travel to customer sites within the designated region. You will work from a home office when not at customer locations.
