Accuray is hiring a Field Service Engineer in Nagoya to be the primary technical support contact for our radiotherapy systems. You will ensure the optimal performance of critical medical equipment at customer sites, acting as a key liaison between Accuray and our clients.
What You'll Do
- Perform periodic inspections, maintenance, and repairs of radiotherapy systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues on-site.
- Conduct software and hardware upgrades to ensure system reliability.
- Provide general customer support, including on-site assistance and remote telephone inquiries.
What We're Looking For
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to travel domestically to distant locations and for potential training in the US.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours and on holidays, as support outside medical facility operating hours is required.
- No aversion to English.
- A valid Regular Class 1 Driver's License.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, particularly maintaining radiation medical equipment or large-scale systems.
- An X-ray Operations Supervisor license (support for obtaining this license is available after joining if not already held).
