Aristocrat is looking for a Field Service Engineer to ensure customer satisfaction by providing on-site technical service for slot machines and related gaming products in Austria. This fully remote position places you at the forefront of our customer operations.
What You'll Do
- Install, convert, repair, and de-install gaming machines, signs, and controllers.
- Coordinate and pre-plan all installation and service schedules for your geographic territory.
- Provide direct customer support for training, parts purchasing advice, and preventative maintenance.
- Assist customers in person or by phone regarding technical challenges, reporting trends and needs to management.
- Liaise with customer representatives and management on product performance, service scheduling, and operational issues.
- Lead service activities and cases to ensure timely and successful resolution of customer concerns.
- Maintain a neat and tidy workplace at customer sites and complete monthly reporting on field issues.
- Monitor system-related issues on platforms to ensure actions are taken to resolve customer problems.
- Perform software burning as an ongoing job.
- Carry out other reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by management.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills and ability to learn.
- In-depth understanding of Digital Electronics.
- Familiarity with networking technologies and issue resolutions.
- Understanding of all Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Must be organized, detailed, goal and results driven.
- Ability to collaborate and connect with all levels of management.
- Timely understanding and execution of instructions when assigned a task.
- Must be ready to travel on short notice, possibly for extended periods, and able to fly within EMEA any day.
- Willingness to work extended hours, be on call for dispatch, and work variable shifts.
- Capability to perform a 2-person lift of a 110kg game onto stands, with a minimum 23kg lift alone.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
- Ability to acquire gaming licenses in approved jurisdictions and hold a valid passport and driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company, product, and employee information.
- Commitment to follow all lawful employer safety and health rules.
