Field Service Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle support of advanced surgical systems within a defined territory. This includes scheduled preventive maintenance, urgent repair response, and thorough testing of equipment to ensure full compliance with technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on medical devices, verifying full operational performance post-service
- Respond promptly to critical service requests, minimizing equipment downtime
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure timely updates in CRM and reporting systems
- Collaborate with clinical, sales, and operations teams to align service delivery with customer needs
- Manage spare parts inventory efficiently, balancing availability with turnover goals
- Support contract sales initiatives and meet defined performance and productivity targets
- Engage with hospital networks and key accounts to ensure consistent service coverage
- Stay current with product developments, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Contribute to team objectives through active cooperation with sales and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of one year’s experience in medical device service or related technical field
- Fluency in both English and Greek required
- Preferred background in ophthalmology, IT networking (TCP/IP), and electronic health record integration
- Additional language skills are an advantage
Work Environment
