Agile Defense is looking for a Fiber Optics Technician III to support critical telecommunications infrastructure. This role requires a seasoned technician to perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
What You'll Do
- Install, terminate, splice, and test fiber optic cables and systems
- Troubleshoot complex fiber optic network issues and implement repairs
- Maintain and document fiber optic infrastructure in accordance with standards
- Utilize OTDRs, power meters, and other specialized test equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on network projects
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a senior-level Fiber Optics Technician
- Expert knowledge of fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex network troubleshooting
- Must be able to work onsite in China Lake, CA
