Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Army and defense-related agencies
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers in federal departments
  • Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure
  • Present complex cybersecurity solutions tailored to government requirements
  • Coordinate with technical teams to align product capabilities with customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver formal proposals and responses to government solicitations
  • Track and report on sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
  • Attend industry events and conferences relevant to defense and government IT
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop Army-focused campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting and security standards
  • Negotiate contract terms in alignment with government procurement rules
  • Support contract renewals and expansion of existing deployments
  • Provide feedback to product teams based on customer requirements
  • Stay informed about competitor offerings in the federal cybersecurity space
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage account interactions and sales data
  • Drive proof-of-concept initiatives with government evaluation teams
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Army account management
  • Align sales strategies with broader federal go-to-market plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all customer engagements
