Responsibilities
- Partner with various asset teams to determine optimal strategies for achieving visual goals
- Collaborate with modelers to resolve UV layout issues and implement corrections
- Design and produce textures in diverse styles for intricate digital assets
- Adhere to project art direction while contributing creatively to the development of the show's overall aesthetic
- Coordinate with leads and supervisors to maintain visual consistency and quality standards
- Deliver high-caliber work on schedule and actively engage in review sessions with constructive input
- Incorporate feedback effectively while striving to exceed visual expectations
- Maintain organized workflows and support team-wide asset management practices
- Streamline advanced texture painting setups and assist peers in optimizing their processes
- Guide and support junior and mid-level artists through mentorship
- Uphold quality standards for personal and team-created assets
- Ensure accurate use of reference materials and proper color space management
- Perform color grading on live-action or reference imagery to match production needs
- Tackle complex technical challenges and support colleagues in finding solutions
- Adapt existing templates to meet unique asset requirements
Compensation
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
