True Tandem is looking for an Experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core systems that power our platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement reliable, high-performance backend services and APIs
- Build and maintain scalable data processing and storage systems
- Collaborate on system architecture, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance
- Write clean, well-documented, and tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and shipping backend systems to production
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
- Expertise in at least one modern backend programming language
- Experience with database design, optimization, and both SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and communicate complex ideas clearly
