Job Description
The Director of Unemployment Claims Management will spearhead and oversee comprehensive Unemployment Management Delivery Services, serving as a strategic business partner across multiple stakeholder levels. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Unemployment Provisioning teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Enhancing unemployment claims processing systems through automation
- Managing power of attorney document facilitation
- Establishing collaborative relationships with internal and external teams
- Communicating effectively to deliver high-quality client services
- Ensuring operational excellence and compliance
- Serving as primary liaison for complex client implementations
- Supporting escalation management
- Independently managing multiple organizational responsibilities
- Facilitating cross-team process improvements
- Assessing client needs and developing customized service approaches
Qualifications
- 10+ years unemployment industry expertise
- 8+ years proven leadership experience
- 10+ years claims processing and representation background
- Proven ability to support and grow professional teams
- Comprehensive understanding of State Information Data Exchange systems
- Strong operational service delivery management skills
- Advanced cross-functional influencing capabilities
- Customer-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Salesforce.com experience
- Project management proficiency
- Bachelor's/MBA/relevant advanced degree
