About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing organizational strategy, financial sustainability, and program execution in the United States, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and global objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and implementation of US-based programs
- Direct fundraising initiatives to meet annual and long-term revenue goals
- Manage relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders
- Oversee financial performance and budget development for US operations
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements
- Supervise staff and foster a culture of accountability and inclusion
- Represent the organization at public and private events
- Collaborate with the global leadership team on shared priorities
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations
- Guide program evaluation and data-driven improvements
- Champion equity and cultural responsiveness across all initiatives
- Lead communications strategy for US audiences
- Coordinate with marketing to enhance public visibility
- Support board engagement and governance activities
- Oversee grant management and reporting processes
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms and campaigns
- Drive donor retention and stewardship efforts
- Expand outreach to underrepresented communities
- Promote innovation in service delivery models
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of public health trends
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration
- Respond to emerging organizational needs
- Ensure crisis preparedness and continuity planning
