About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing organizational strategy, financial sustainability, and program execution in the United States, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and global objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and implementation of US-based programs
  • Direct fundraising initiatives to meet annual and long-term revenue goals
  • Manage relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee financial performance and budget development for US operations
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements
  • Supervise staff and foster a culture of accountability and inclusion
  • Represent the organization at public and private events
  • Collaborate with the global leadership team on shared priorities
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations
  • Guide program evaluation and data-driven improvements
  • Champion equity and cultural responsiveness across all initiatives
  • Lead communications strategy for US audiences
  • Coordinate with marketing to enhance public visibility
