Keep a Child Alive (KCA) is a global movement dedicated to supporting children and families facing the most challenging circumstances. Driven by the mission to change the world one child at a time, KCA provides vital assistance and hope to vulnerable communities around the world.
The organization was founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys and Leigh Blake after witnessing children and families needlessly dying in Kenya. Since then, KCA has grown into a powerful force for empowerment, extending its reach to Africa, India, and beyond, supporting grassroots organizations that deliver essential services.
KCA focuses on long-term, sustainable development by partnering with local organizations to provide resources, healthcare, education, and support. Their work spans over 28 countries, serving more than one million children and empowering communities through solidarity rather than charity.
