Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for an Event Sales Manager to join our team. In this on-property role, you will be responsible for selling Banquet Food, Beverage & Meeting Room Rentals while managing the planning and execution of events. You'll ensure a high level of service by acting as the central point of communication before, during, and after events with hotel staff.
What You'll Do
- Sell Banquet Food, Beverage & Meeting Room Rentals.
- Conduct menu planning, agenda setting, and coordinate hotel meeting services.
- Handle business development and contract review.
- Facilitate communication before, during, and after events with hotel staff.
- Host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Participate in and potentially lead event meetings and other staff meetings.
- Work as a team member with the sales and events staff.
- Work closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.
What We're Looking For
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Nice to Have
- Prefer two years of hotel experience or a completed Event Management trainee program.
