PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executes remote inspections using the SGS QiiQ technology
- Fully complies with inspection rules applicable to TFS inspections in line with the Inspection Job Order (IJO), Initial Assessment Form (IAF), Quality System procedures and/or any other applicable
- document/manual related to inspection execution and reporting.
- Support the PCA team

- TFS Manager Philippines with functional reporting to:
- Country IC Manager
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts inspection efficiently upon request from IC coordinator or PCA Analysts and verify that all information provided for inspection execution is complete.
- Complies with inspectors’ manual (handout), contract instructions, IAF and IJO for inspection execution.
- Reports inspection results using the standard TFS Inspection Report form.
- On time submission of inspection report in eTrade and remote SharePoint, according to deadlines provided by KPI.
- Reports to the Inspection Coordinator any risk detected during the inspection process in accordance with the risk detection guideline provided by IC management.
- Carefully uses tools and materials provided by the company for inspection execution.
- Reports to IC Coordinator any deviation from standard procedures defined in the inspector’s manual, IJO, IAF, SGS Policy, SGS Ethic Code, and any other mandatory document applicable to TFS.
- Supports PCA operations in promoting remote inspection
- Performs other remote inspection-related task assigned by local TFS office.
PROFILE
Educational / Professional qualifications & Experience
- University degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience execution of inspections
- Knowledge of specific product industry or technician/professional level is an advantage. This replaces the requirement to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in execution of inspection.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Decisive, assertive, results and customer oriented
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Fookien. Fluency in other languages is an advantage
- Applies judgement and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
TRAININGS
TFS is required to provide internal trainings on the following if these are not covered in the Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Health, Safety and Environment
- PSI and PCA inspections, and the differences between the two
- Documents used for inspection (IJO, IR, IAF, PIR, PL, PF), and how each of these are used.
- Country Instructions, and the differences between these
- Inspection Manual / IVP Business Rules Section 7 Inspection (Inspection scope, sampling plan, photos, product labelling, container sealing, calibration, security ...)
- Inspection Reporting (Expiry Date, Shelf life, discrepancies, due date to send reports and photos...)
- Inspector’s Course
- SGS QiiQ technology
