About the Role
The engineer will provide hands-on technical support for enterprise infrastructure, troubleshoot complex system issues, and contribute to improving reliability and efficiency across internal technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across enterprise systems
- Support internal users with technical challenges related to enterprise applications
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts or outages
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain network and server stability
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Implement security updates and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Manage access controls and user permissions for internal platforms
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across distributed office locations
- Assist in deploying and configuring workstations and mobile devices
- Work with third-party vendors to resolve service disruptions
- Support cloud-based services and integration with on-premises systems
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and track lifecycle status
- Ensure timely patching and updates for enterprise software
- Provide escalation support for complex technical inquiries
- Contribute to automation of routine operational tasks
- Assist in onboarding new employees with technology setup
- Respond to service desk tickets with a focus on rapid resolution
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for enterprise adoption
- Support collaboration platforms used across global teams
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent
- Experience in financial or trading environments
- Knowledge of Linux desktop environments
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog or Nagios
- Experience with service desk ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
