Responsibilities
- Enhance and evolve the proprietary back-office system, BOSS, with an emphasis on speed, stability, and capacity for growth
- Manage the full development lifecycle: collaborate with business partners to define needs, create technical designs, and deploy well-tested solutions
- Design and implement software systems to simplify and automate processes in Operations, Treasury, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, and Compliance
- Work closely with technology teams across front office, data, and artificial intelligence functions to solve complex, cross-functional problems
- Lead efforts to replace outdated components with modern, sustainable codebases and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline
- Professional experience developing and maintaining production systems using Python or Java
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Solid analytical abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Proactive communication style with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
Nice to Have
- Experience working with React or other current front-end libraries
- Knowledge of C#, particularly in the context of maintaining or migrating legacy systems
- Hands-on experience in Linux-based development environments
- Track record of improving efficiency through automation and workflow redesign
- Familiarity with AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude

Compensation
Base salary is determined case by case, considering experience, skills, education, location, and other relevant factors. This role includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses and participation in an annual incentive plan, in addition to base pay.

Hybrid work model with office locations in New York, London, Amsterdam, Milan, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Stamford, and Boston
