Responsibilities

- Support career development through regular feedback and growth planning
- Promote best practices in incident management and post-mortem analysis
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and platform governance standards
- Manage team delivery against key performance metrics and service level objectives
- Champion automation, observability, and infrastructure as code practices
- Work closely with platform and product teams to improve developer velocity
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system resilience
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration during major incidents or system changes
- Balance short-term operational needs with long-term technical investments
- Encourage knowledge sharing and documentation across engineering groups
- Drive initiatives to improve system uptime and reduce technical debt
- Participate in leadership forums to shape engineering-wide priorities
- Support hiring and onboarding of engineering talent
- Promote inclusive team practices and psychological safety
- Monitor team health and workload to prevent burnout
- Represent infrastructure perspectives in company-wide planning sessions
