About the Role
Manage and grow a team responsible for developing and maintaining tooling that supports engineering workflows, infrastructure, and developer experience. Drive initiatives that improve system reliability, deployment efficiency, and developer productivity through scalable solutions and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on internal tooling and developer platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify pain points in development and deployment workflows
- Define and execute roadmap for developer experience improvements
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable DevOps tools and automation systems
- Promote best practices in CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure management
- Work closely with platform and SRE teams to align tooling with operational needs
- Drive adoption of internal tools across engineering organizations
- Evaluate performance and usability of existing developer tools
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence
- Support career development and technical growth of team members
- Ensure reliability, security, and maintainability of tooling systems
- Coordinate with product and engineering leadership on strategic priorities
- Manage project planning, execution, and delivery timelines
- Integrate feedback loops from developers into tooling enhancements
- Champion developer-centric design in platform development

- Background in frontend or full-stack development with tooling focus
- Hands-on experience building self-service developer platforms
- Exposure to large-scale distributed systems
- Prior work in developer experience or internal tools teams

- Track record of reducing operational overhead through automation
- Experience with developer portal frameworks or internal dashboards
