About the Role
Lead a team of engineers developing systems that enable synchronized code workflows, improve developer productivity, and bridge gaps between design and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers working on code synchronization tools
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define roadmap and priorities
- Drive technical direction for features that enhance code consistency and collaboration
- Ensure engineering best practices are followed across the team
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in development and deployment workflows
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on system architecture
- Support career development and performance feedback for team members
- Oversee sprint planning, delivery timelines, and project execution
- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve code sync capabilities
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Champion developer experience and usability in internal tools
- Balance technical debt with feature development
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis when needed
- Drive adoption of new workflows across engineering teams
- Monitor team metrics and productivity indicators
- Represent the team in organization-wide engineering forums
- Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards
- Facilitate onboarding for new team members

- Experience in developer experience or internal tools teams
- Background in real-time collaboration systems
- Familiarity with design-to-code workflows
- Experience with GraphQL or similar data query languages
- Knowledge of conflict resolution in distributed editing systems
