About the Role
You will lead technical direction and development of an integrations platform, overseeing architecture, execution, and team growth while ensuring reliability and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Guide the design and implementation of integration pipelines across internal and external systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define integration requirements
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of integration workflows and APIs
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of integration infrastructure
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software development
- Drive incident resolution and improve system observability
- Evaluate and adopt tools and frameworks to enhance integration capabilities
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and error-handling standards
- Work closely with security teams to maintain compliance
- Lead technical planning and roadmap alignment for integration services
- Optimize integration throughput and reduce latency
- Support on-call rotations for critical platform issues
- Improve documentation and developer experience for integration tooling
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and API providers
- Ensure backward compatibility during integration updates
- Drive automation of integration testing and deployment
- Champion reliability and scalability in system design
- Participate in code and architecture reviews
- Identify technical debt and lead refactoring initiatives
- Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
