CLAAS is looking for an Engineering Apprentice to join our Pre-development Engineering Systems team in Trangé, France. You will focus on the development of a tractor suspension system, working directly under the supervision of a Suspension Systems Engineer. This role offers hands-on experience in performance evaluation, testing, and simulation within a team dedicated to shaping the future of agriculture.
What You'll Do
- Develop tractor suspension performance evaluation through measurement, analysis, and database management
- Develop tests and methods for subsystems to evaluate their performance
- Develop simulations based on the suspension strategy
- Assist the project from specification through to the development and tuning of the suspension
- Evaluate concepts for the system
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing an Engineering degree with a Mechanical Engineering background
- A minimum of B1 level English proficiency
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Experience or interest in the agricultural domain
- Knowledge of Matlab (code and/or Simulink)
