Egnyte is looking for an engineer to build and maintain Python-based AI and Integration services at production scale, supporting high-traffic and mission-critical products. You will be part of the Ecosystem Team that builds integration apps, SDKs, and adoption tools for our platform.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain mostly Python-based AI/Integration services in production scale supporting high traffic and mission-critical products.
• Participate in developing lightweight frontend layers using React or similar technologies.
• Work with the Egnyte AI team to develop Agentic Framework/MCPs.
• Collaborate with other backend teams, product teams, or UX/UI designers as required.
• Help lead the direction of Egnyte’s Ecosystem and influence final product integration.
• Have a chance to get in direct contact with our partners and develop communication skills.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on production experience with Python Backend service development.
• Experience in REST APIs, Webhooks, various server-to-server communication techniques, Auth protocols, Agentic protocols, and LLMs.
• Basic experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Fundamental knowledge of databases and SQL, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in debugging multi-threaded applications using Kibana and performance analysis.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, ELK stack, and APM/Observability.
• Strong sense of ownership of a product.
• Communicative English skills.

Nice to Have

• Preferred experience with Django.
• Knowledge in AI Services (A2A, MCP) development and fundamental knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
