About the Role
This role involves using native-level language skills to train and evaluate AI models in Dutch dialects from Suriname and the Caribbean, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate AI-generated text in Dutch as spoken in Suriname and Caribbean regions
- Provide accurate translations and linguistic feedback to enhance model performance
- Identify regional language variations and cultural nuances in Dutch dialects
- Review AI responses for correctness, tone, and contextual relevance
- Follow project-specific guidelines for data annotation and evaluation
- Flag inappropriate or inaccurate content in language model outputs
- Contribute to the development of training datasets for natural language processing
- Ensure linguistic consistency across different AI interactions
- Assist in refining language models to better understand regional expressions
- Meet deadlines for assigned language evaluation tasks
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all submitted work
- Communicate effectively with project coordinators on language issues
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and feedback
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Use provided tools and platforms to complete language tasks
Nice to Have
- Formal education in linguistics, translation, or a related field
- Previous experience working with AI or machine learning language projects
- Background in teaching Dutch or working as a translator
- Knowledge of Creole languages spoken in Suriname or the Caribbean
- Experience with natural language processing tools
