Responsibilities
- Understand and develop Microsoft.NET (vb.net and Asp.net) application code while working with Oracle 11g database as the application backend
- Analyze, understand and develop Microsoft.NET (vb.net and Asp.net) application code while working with Oracle 11g database as the application backend
- Work and coordinate with the offshore team during various phases of the software development life cycle
- Be part of maintenance activities (data-fixes/defect-fixes) for releases deployed to the production environment
- Translate business requirements and enhancements to system-level technical modifications
- Develop and modify application components using Asp.Net and VB.Net technologies
- Develop and modify database components (pl/SQL) code for Oracle 11G database
- Develop and modify SQL Server 2008 Reports
- Develop and modify SQL Server 2008 SSIS packages
- Coordinate with onsite/offshore team to provide timely status updates
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or requested
