Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Document Controller

Parsons Transportation Group is looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for coordinating and safekeeping all department documentation, ensuring the proper handling, filing, and archiving of documents received and issued. What You'll Do

• Coordinate and safeguard all department documentation.
• Conduct file validation exercises and exercise proper document control.
• Ensure required activities are performed in line with agreed quality standards.
• Follow Client operating procedures on submission and retention of documents.
• Ensure all documents have no errors in filenames, submissions, etc. before submission.
• Conduct necessary pre-preparations of all documents and communicate with employees to ensure timely submission.
• Ensure all mail is opened and sorted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure documents are scanned, batched/coded correctly with header sheets added to each batch.
• Utilize documentation software efficiently to keep track of all incoming and outgoing documents.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience or working knowledge in the field of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS)
• Working knowledge with contract and procurement
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications suite
• Sound working knowledge in the Aconex platform

Nice to Have

• Experience in Qatar or GCC
• Excellent Communication skills written and verbal in English
• Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy
• Team Player
